Terms of service

Last updated 7 November 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Simon Papaj, an individual trading as Algōs Bot (“we”, “us”), established in Hungary. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind that company.

What the service is

Algōs Bot reads your website, proposes companies and people worth approaching, and drafts outreach messages. It is an assistant: it researches, it proposes, and it writes. It does not send anything without a human approval, and it does not guarantee that any prospect will reply, buy, or exist as described.

The product is in beta. Features change, and behaviour may change with them. We tell you in the app when something you rely on is changing materially.

Your account

  • Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you believe they are compromised.
  • One person, one account. Do not share a login; invite colleagues instead.
  • You must be at least 16 and able to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
  • You are responsible for everything done through your workspace, including messages you approve.

Acceptable use

You may not use Algōs Bot to:

  • send unsolicited bulk email, or any message that breaches anti-spam law in the recipient's country — including GDPR-based rules on electronic marketing;
  • contact people who have asked not to be contacted. The product maintains a suppression list; attempting to work around it is a breach of these terms;
  • misrepresent who you are, or send on behalf of someone who has not authorised you;
  • scrape or harvest personal data at scale, or process special-category data (health, religion, political opinions) through the service;
  • break the law, infringe rights, or distribute malware;
  • probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or attempt to reach another workspace's data.

We may suspend a workspace that breaches this section, and we will say why. Sending reputation is shared infrastructure, so a workspace that damages it is a risk to every other customer.

Your content, and what we do with it

You keep ownership of your data — your website content, your mailbox, your customer information. You grant us the limited licence needed to process it in order to provide the service: to read it, store it, send it to the processors listed in our privacy policy, and to show it back to you.

We claim no ownership of the messages the agent drafts, and no right to publish them. We do not train models on your data.

Third-party data

Company and contact information comes from external providers and public sources. It is provided as-is. Phone numbers, job titles and addresses go stale; an email address may be a pattern we inferred rather than one a provider verified, and the app tells you which is which. Check anything important before you rely on it.

Fees

Paid plans, where they apply, are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice, and you may cancel before the change takes effect.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, provider outages and failures outside our control can interrupt it. Where a paid plan promises a specific availability level, that promise is stated in the order and overrides this section.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We can end the agreement if you materially breach these terms and do not fix it within 14 days of being told, or immediately if the breach exposes us or another customer to legal risk. On termination your data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You are responsible for the messages you approve, and for complying with the marketing and data protection law that applies to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you may end the agreement before then.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, and the courts of Hungary have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them — without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply where you live.
